AV Club Livecoding Workshop

We're hosting a self-guided workshop on the basics of livecoding - making music and visuals on-the-fly with code.

This workshop is meant to teach total beginners enough that they can start playing around with the capabilities of live coding frameworks. Experienced live coders will be there to help answer any questions you might have and generally provie guidance.

For visuals, we'll primarily be focusing on Hydra. Since this platform is web-based, there's nothing you need to do ahead of time! Just bring your laptop and you'll be set.

For audio, we'll be focusing on Tidal Cycles. This framework is a little more complicated. As a result, if you have the time, please install Tidal Cycles following the instructions for Windows, Mac, or Linux ahead of the workshop. If you have any questions as you're going through this process, please feel to ask questions in the discord.
